Variety of Californian Origin
This Californian variety was developed by SUPERIOR FARMING COMPANY BAKERSFIELD through a crossbreeding of Cardinal and apirena (secret) grapes and was introduced in 1972. Currently, it is one of the most widely cultivated seedless varieties. In addition to being used as table grapes, it is also employed for making raisins, juices, fruit salads, and preserved in syrup.”
